The Taste Of Lakewood Is Sunday

LAKEWOOD, OH - More than 30 of Lakewood's restaurants will set up booths in Madison Park on Sunday as part of the annual Taste of Lakewood event.

The no-admission fee event will be held in Madison Park from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Attendees can grab a bite to eat from some of Lakewood's most famous and iconic eateries while listening to live music.

Sunday's event will represent the 16th time the Taste of Lakewood has helped kick-off summer in the city. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce's scholarship program for students at Lakewood High and St. Edward High.

This year's event will feature the Dollar Bank Merchant Market, with artwork, decor, pottery, apparel and more for sale. The Good Food Kids Garden tent will give children the chance to plant a tomato plant, the University of Akron will provide a photo booth, and Thirsty Dog Brewing Company will offer a beer garden for adults.

The Sauced Taproom and The Tea Lab will make first-time appearances at Taste of Lakewood. This year's list of participating restaurants also includes:

For attendees that want to guarantee their seating, there is a VIP option for tickets. For $50, the VIP tickets offers reserved seating beneath a tent and servers that will bring food to the table. VIP ticket holders also get access to a VIPs-only bar and a VIPs-only raffle.
