This Weekend: Arts, Movies and Lots of Outdoor Music

Have some fun outside this weekend with some of these out of doors events.

1.  

Where/When: / Friday July 12th 7 p.m.

Why Go: This week it's 15-60-75, “The Numbers Band.” Check out this hard hitting, classic blues band on the library’s front stairs. This is another excellent installment in the weekly Front Porch Concert Series.

Where/When: / Saturday August 13th 12-6 p.m.

Why Go: Help bring Madison Avenue alive with art. Eat, drink and be merry while checking out Crafty Goodness, Rockflower Studio and Goddess Blessed during the first annual Art Walk. Come check out works from over 80 local artists, while decorating the sidewalk with complimentary chalk.

Where/When: /Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 7 p.m.

Why Go: Sit back, relax with an iced coffee and enjoy free, live music at 7pm on Friday and Saturdays and 2pm Sundy afternoons at the Beck Café, 17801 Detroit Avenue. Showcase your own musicality at 7pm on Wednesdays for Open Mic Nights.

Where/When: / Friday August 12th 9 p.m.

Why Go: Come hear some of the latest and greatest North East Ohio singer songwriters, Featuring Michael Grady, Randy J. Daniels, Reid Anderson, Tom Sayers, Marcus Whiteamire, in an "in-the-round" format. Tickets are only $5.

Where/When: at Lakewood Park/ Saturday August 13th 9:30-11 p.m.

Why Go: You can enjoy watching "Finding Nemo" as you float in the pool or relax on the deck.
