Tickets On Sale for LREF’s Aug. 19 Gala

Join the party of the summer. Tickets on sale until Aug. 5 for Purple & Gold Gala to support Lakewood schools.

Honor, support and celebrate Lakewood City School's unique student programming -- and fundraising entity behind it — Lakewood Rangers Education Foundation — at the party of the summer.

Put on your favorite cocktail attire and join LREF, alumni, civic and business leaders and other engaged Lakewood residents at an elegant evening in support of the opportunities that support Lakewood's world-class public education at the Purple & Gold Gala, Saturday, Aug. 19, at Lakewood High School.

Attendees also will celebrate the completion of the school district's impressive construction program and be among the first to tour the high school's new performing arts and physical education wing. They'll also enjoy an open bar, international cuisine, silent and live auctions. The live auction will feature WTAM's Mike Snyder as emcee and auctioneer Brooks Ames

Young alumni and young professionals are invited to show their support and have fun while doing it at the Crash the Gala, held the same night, beginning at 9:30 pm, in LHS' new Black Box Theater. Crashes will enjoy beer from local breweries like Sibling Revelry and Brick & Barrel and have the chance to win a "liquor cabinet" raffle basket.

Both Purple & Gold Gala and Crash the Gala attendees will mingle together in the theater at 9:30 and dance until midnight at the spirited after party.
