Tom Bullock Will Fight for Our Cities

Tom Bullock has spent a lot of time out of his busy schedule to talk policy with me. One theme that Tom keeps returning to his how our cities are the drivers of the economy. Our cities are where our most innovative solutions to complex problems are born. Tom knows that for the past decade, the General Assembly has moved to disempower our cities and consolidate power in Columbus. I firmly believe we need to send Tom Bullock to Columbus to reverse this trend.

Governor Kasich and the Republican Legislature have robbed Cleveland of approximately $200 million over the past eight years. They have attacked home rule, started to control how and when our cites collect taxes, and shorted our public transit, education, and other vital programs that are essential to our community.

Tom Bullock has represented Lakewood on City Council for the past ten years. Tom has me convinced that cities know best on how to serve their community. It is time to send Tom Bullock to Columbus to direct the money and power where it can do the most good. Back to our cities, back to our families, back to us.
