Tree Of Life Memorial Planned For Lakewood Park
The Lakewood Jewish Alliance is organizing the event for Saturday, a group member told Patch. The memorial will honor the 11 people killed.

LAKEWOOD, OH β As the nation continues to mourn the tragic attack on the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, the Jewish Lakewood Alliance is planning a memorial to honor and support the victims and their families.
On Saturday, at Lakewood Park, the JLA will hold a 3 p.m. memorial. The event will happen rain or shine, a Tim Collingwood, a JLA member told Patch.
"Please come and show your support for Tree of Life," Collingwood said.

Last Saturday, Robert Bowers allegedly burst into the Tree of Life Synagogue, in Pittsburgh's Squirrel Hill neighborhood, and opened fire. He was reportedly armed with an AR-15 and three handguns. Eleven people were killed.
The Anti-Defamation League has said it may be the deadliest attack on the American Jewish community in history.

Bowers pleaded not guilty to killing the synagogue congregants this week.
