Hi all. I'm back in your inbox this morning with your fresh edition of the Lakewood Daily. Let's get this Thursday started off right with a quick review of the most important things happening around town.
But first, today's weather:
Clouds giving way to sun. High: 53 Low: 40.
📢 I'm looking for business owners and marketers in Lakewood who want to build awareness, connect with customers and increase sales.
I have a limited number of sponsorships available to introduce our Lakewood Daily readers to local businesses they need to know about. If that's you, then I invite you to learn more and secure your spot now.
Here are the top three stories today in Lakewood:
- Lakewood's Equidox is focusing on increasing PDF accessibility for those living with disabilities. The document conversion software company is altering its program to allow individuals with sight issues, such as blindness, to convert PDF files. The new features will allow organizations to become fully compliant with ADA requirements. (Subscription: Cleveland.com)
- The Rotary Club of Lakewood is seeking donations for its annual Trials for Hope fall fundraiser. The event will include a virtual raffle from Nov. 12 through Nov. 19. On Nov. 20, there will be a drawing at Crowne Plaza Cleveland. On Nov. 13, there will be an in-person luncheon. The fundraiser has a goal of $8,000. Proceeds will be used to support those in need.
