Two Lakewood Schools Positions Filled Internally
The departing superintendent said the district needed stability because of other changes in the administration.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Two vacant positions within the Lakewood Schools were filled July 24. Anthony Chiaravalle will be the new House Principal at Lakewod High, and April Patton will be the next Assistant Principal at Harding Middle schools
Departing Superintendent Jeff Patterson sees the benefit of the two hires. “With all the administrative changes the District is experiencing, it is important that we maintain some stability by promoting deserving internal candidates. Tony and April will help do that,” Patterson said.
Chiaravalle will be the House 2 Principal, allowing Associate Principal Brian Siftar to focus on students' college readiness. Patton is replacing Robin Beavers who will become the new Garfield Principal.
