
It’s the end of spring and the school year, and in a couple of weeks summer officially starts. The days are getting longer and hotter, and people will be spending more time outdoors doing yard work, sports, sitting at the beach, and going on vacation. Of course this means more sun exposure and the chance of getting burned from having become a “pale-face” all winter. The media and health authorities recommend covering up with sunscreen to protect yourself from “the sun’s harmful rays”. But what you are not told is that most conventional sunscreens are not healthy and may be doing you more harm than good.
