What's The Big Idea? Lakewood Wants To Encourage Entrepreneurs
The upcoming Lakewood Idea Competition will offer cash and other prizes to entrepreneurs that want to help the city.

LAKEWOOD, OH — Budding entrepreneurs will have the chance to boost their dreams into reality through the 2018 Lakewood Idea Competition. The inaugural event will see participants pitch their business plans, apps, and civic ideas to a panel of Northeast Ohio entrepreneurs.
The competition will be held November 14 at the historic Winchester Music Hall from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cash and other prizes will be awarded to the top three ideas. Concepts must be sent to info@startuplakewood. All pitches must include three key points, the city said:
- What is the idea or concept?
- What is the market for such an idea or concept?
- How would you apply this idea to Lakewood?
Guests and participants are asked to RSVP for the event. Everyone's first drink will be covered by Front Porch Media.
