Wizard-Themed Pop-Up Bar Open In Lakewood

LAKEWOOD, OH — The popular "Wizard's Corner Bar" will pop-up again near Around the Corner on October 24. The pop-up bar will appeal to fans of witches, wizards and warlocks eager to cast spells and hang out in an eerily decorated watering hole.

The Pop Up Corner Bar will be located next door to Around the Corner, 18616 Detroit Avenue. The Wizard's Corner will be open October 24, from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., October 25, from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m., October 26, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., and October 31, from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Besides decorating the bar to appeal to budding magic-users and petty dabblers in the occult, there will be tasty specialties, like hand-crafted potions and elixirs for guests to try. Customers are encouraged to dress-up for their visit to the bar.

The Wizard's Corner isn't the last pop-up bar of the year planned for the space near Around the Corner.

The Christmas Corner Bar will return in November and additional details on that opening are forthcoming, according to an Around the Corner representative.
