Woman Wounded In Lakewood Shooting Dies
A 21-year-old woman was shot by her boyfriend during an incident at Olivewood Ave. Police say the woman has now died from her injuries.

LAKEWOOD, OH — A 21-year-old woman has died from wounds she suffered Friday during a double shooting on Olivewood Avenue. The woman's boyfriend allegedly shot the woman before turning the gun on himself. The woman's boyfriend was pronounced dead early on Friday morning.
The shootings took place Feb. 23 at about 2:30 a.m. Police were called to a home on Olivewood Avenue by a man saying that his son had just shot his girlfriend. The caller said the son had run out of the home.
Officers found the man in the backyard of a nearby house. The man, now identified as 23-year-old Amer Ahmad, allegedly shot himself in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His 21-year-old girlfriend, Sarah Hahmood was taken to a nearby hospital.

Hahmood died Sunday, police said. The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Officer has not yet ruled on the cause of death.
The investigation into the case is ongoing.
