Women's March Power To The Polls Forum To Be Held In Lakewood

After the march in Cleveland Public Square, the Women's March organization will hold a session on supporting women candidates for office.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The Women's March organization will host a post-march forum in Lakewood that will teach attendees how to better support qualified women candidates for office, how to battle gerrymandering and more. The event will be held at Lakewood UCC from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

"The Power To The Polls Forum aims to focus the rallying cry of the Women’s March into meaningful action. The Power To The Polls Forum will begin with Speakers/Rally, and then we will break, before returning for a panel discussion on voting rights and advocacy, running for elected office and engaging in the political process at all levels with an opportunity for discussion and Q&A," the event's Facebook page said.

The event is free, but registration is required because space is limited. Tickets can be reserved by clicking here. There are currently 75 confirmed attendees on Facebook, and another 215 interested attendees.

One of the event's key speakers is Lakewood's State Representative Nickie Antonio. She will be joined a bevy of other female speakers, including:
