Wrestling Coach Suspended At St. Ed's Amid Accusations

LAKEWOOD, OH — A part-time wrestling coach at St. Edward High School has been suspended after allegations of misconduct surfaced against him. The coach has been suspended indefinitely while police investigate the accusations.

The Lakewood-based private high school sent a letter to families informing them of the coach's suspension and the allegations against the coach. The letter described the accusations as sexual in nature.

"These are disturbing allegations, and our concern is solely for the health and safety of our students," the letter said. Families with information regarding the accusations against the coach were urged to contact Lakewood police.

A report to Lakewood police was taken Thursday, according to Fox 8. That means the investigation into Gonsor is only in its initial stages.
