Here are the top stories in Marietta today:
- A two-car crash in Marietta late Thursday sent one person to the hospital. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the injuries appeared to be minor, and the person was transported to Marietta Memorial Hospital more as a precautionary measure. (WTAP-TV)
- The Ohio State Highway Patrol Marietta Post and Ellison Assisted Living of Marietta will conduct a Holiday Food Drive 10-2 p.m. Dec. 11 at Ellison Assisted Living, 150 Browns Road. Residents are asked to donate canned goods, non-perishable items or money to help someone in need. (Marietta Times)
- Some Marietta College students are one step closer to starting their own business after winning some major cash at a competition this evening. Students competed in the PioBiz competition-a competition where students present their business plans in the hopes of winning some much-needed capital in order to set up shop. (WTAP-TV)
