• BB2C brings career learning to Marietta classrooms (mariettatimes.com) — Marietta City Schools teachers are partnering with Building Bridges to Careers to bring real-world, career-focused projects and speakers directly into local classrooms. Through surveys, internships, problem-solving challenges, and employer connections, the district hopes to better align lessons with Washington County job opportunities and give students earlier, hands-on exposure to potential career paths.
   

• Community Resource Fair will bring services together (newsandsentinel.com) — Marietta families can connect with more than 30 service organizations this Sunday at GoPacks' Community Resource Fair, running 1–3 p.m. at the Lafayette Hotel. Expect free student physicals from the Marietta-Belpre Health Department, a farmer's market, books, bike helmets, and help with Marietta City Schools' Infinite Campus, plus information on food, health, and support programs across the Mid-Ohio Valley.
   

• Beverly-Waterford Sweetcorn Festival returns to Dodge Park (wtap.com) — A beloved Sweetcorn Festival tradition that once took place in Marietta is now thriving in nearby Beverly, where it returns to Dodge Park this Saturday evening with food, live music, and kids' activities. Organizers say proceeds will support Beverly-Waterford downtown revitalization, while Witten's Farm sweetcorn, Amish-made apple dumplings, and family-friendly games aim to draw crowds from across Washington County.
