3. Four local graduates receive Appalachian Ohio scholarships (mariettatimes.com) — A Marietta student and three other Washington County graduates have earned competitive scholarships from the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio, sharing in more than $870,000 awarded across the region. The awards, including the Jennifer Garrison Public Service Scholarship, will help local graduates pursue degrees at schools like Ohio State, Syracuse, Marshall, and Ohio University.
4. Meet Luke Giffen: 2nd in the world for Pokémon TCG Juniors (wtap.com) — A young Pokémon Trading Card Game standout who trains at 740 Hobby in Marietta just finished second in the world at the junior championships in San Francisco. 5. Rep. Ritter Highlights Biennial Ohio House High School Student Art Exhibition Awardee (ohiohouse.gov) — Marietta-based State Rep.
