Bernard P. Walsh

Bernard “Cupcake” Walsh, 82, of Fleming, Ohio, died on Friday, January, 19, 2024 at the Harmer Place in Marietta, Ohio. He was born on October 29, 1941 to Bartley and Lena Fignar Walsh.

He graduated in 1960 from St. Mary’s High School in Marietta, Ohio. After graduation, under the journeyman program he joined Local Union #168 Plumbers & Pipefitters. He then was drafted into the United States Army and served 13 months in Korea. He enjoyed working on the farm with his father, fishing, woodworking, and gardening. Bernard was a member of the American Legion Post #64 for a time. He loved spending time with his family.

Bernard is survived by his wife, Sandra Lee Reynolds Walsh, whom he married on January 27, 1967; his two children, Holly Lynn Ladeaux (Chris) and James Patrick Walsh; and many grandchildren.

He preceded in death by his parents and brother Bartley Walsh.

Following his wishes, Bernard will be cremated with no services at this time.
