- Washington County Commissioner James Booth is calling on the Marietta City Council to vote and ratify the sewer deal they made with the city's safety service director and mayor. (Marietta Patch)

- A Gallia County man is dead after a crash yesterday. Apparently, 64-year-old Danny Thompson lost control going around a curve and flipped his truck. He wasn't wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene. (WTAP)
- There is a massive project about to be undertaken in Marietta. According to the glorious and reputable Marietta Times, an $8-10 million capital improvement project that will transform the parking lot at Putnam and Gilman and create 100 jobs is about to get going.
