Washington County Health Department Announces Annual Drive-Thru Flu Clinics

Marietta, Ohio — August 31, 2026 — The Washington County Health Department is pleased to announce the dates for its upcoming Annual Drive-Thru Flu Clinics. The convenient drive-thru format allows community members to receive their seasonal influenza vaccination quickly and safely without leaving their vehicle.

The drive-thru clinics will offer Flucelvax, the regular-dose influenza vaccine, for individuals age 9 and older, as well as Fluad High Dose, recommended for adults age 65 and older.

“We are excited to once again offer our annual drive-thru flu clinics to the community,” said the Washington County Health Department. “The drive-thru format provides a convenient way for individuals and families to protect themselves and those around them during flu season.”

Drive-thru flu vaccinations are available for individuals age 9 and older. Participants should bring a form of payment, such as an insurance card. Flu vaccines are covered by most insurance plans. For individuals who choose to self-pay, the cost is $68 for the regular-dose vaccine or $95 for the high-dose vaccine.

Individuals who are 6 months through 8 years of age, or anyone wishing to receive other recommended immunizations through the Health Department's regular immunization clinic, should call 740-374-2782, ext. 3333, to schedule an appointment.
