- Ohio Lt. Gov Jon Husted visited Cutler to unveil a plan that would bring broadband internet to about 300 locals. (Marietta Times)
- Peoples Bank Theatre is back open with a number of major improvements. Their first concert back will be The Marshall Tucker Band tonight!.
- Ohio University has a plan in place to deal with all students choosing to disobey their vaccine mandate, the number ranges from 33% to 25% across campuses. The deadline is November 16, and the school is trying to bother them into compliance. Unvaccinated students may have to enroll spring semester online. Employees who defy the OU decree may face discipline in January. (WOUB)
- The constitutional deadline has been missed for new Ohio House and Senate district maps. The Ohio Redistricting Commission will now draw the lines. (Statehouse News Bureau)
