- The civil suit against AEP over the 2019 house fire death of Elsa Thompson kicked off this week. Thompson was the founder of Bird Watcher's Digest. (Marietta Times)
- Early voting and mail-in voting is underway in Ohio. Folks can vote in a number of state and local races from now until May 3. There is some uncertainty in some races due to the ongoing saga with Ohio's map redistricting. (WTAP)
- Currently there are no Covid-19 in-patients at Memorial Health System. This is a big deal considering this is the first time it's happened since the pandemic broke out. (WTAP)
