Restaurants and retailers took part in the event on Marietta Main Street; eateries and bars offered flights of drinks and appetizers, and retailers like Green Acres of Marietta offered savings when customers bought three pieces of jewelry. 2. The Washington County Career Center announced its babysitting class offerings for the year. For kids aged 13-17, the career center's class gives adolescents hands-on practice with daily babysitting chores, such as changing diapers and feeding.
