- Did you get a chance to go out on the town last night and enjoy "Flight Night?" Restaurants and retailers took part in the event on Marietta Main Street; eateries and bars offered flights of drinks and appetizers, and retailers like Green Acres of Marietta offered savings when customers bought three pieces of jewelry. - The Washington County Career Center announced its babysitting class offerings for the year. For kids aged 13-17, the career center's class gives adolescents hands-on practice with daily babysitting chores, such as changing diapers and feeding.
