John Carl Baker, 77, of Lowell, OH, passed away on Monday, March 4th, 2024. He was born on September 21st, 1946 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Wilbur Carl Baker and Alice Catherine (Eger) Baker. John was preceded in death by his father and mother, as well as his brothers, Bill Michael and David "Tiny" Baker, and sister, Carla Baker.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Shirley (Richards) Baker, whom he married on October 29, 1971; daughter, Christine Holliday (Ezekiel); and his two grandchildren, Zachariah and Zakia Holliday; and sister, Cheryl Kiggans.
John was a graduate of Fort Frye High School, class of 1964. He was employed by Dravo for over 20 years.
