🌱 Marietta Receives $9.7M In ARP Funds + O'Neill Center Donation

  1. Marietta continued to face COVID-19 during 2021, but that didn't prevent it from looking to the future. The city was granted $9.7 million in federal rescue plan money, funds it plans to use toward infrastructure improvements. These improvements include upgrading the Marietta-Belpre Health Department, building a new parking garage, and a new complex to be located downtown. Marietta is receiving its ARP money in two allocations: one for 2021 and the other for 2022. (WTAP-TV)
  2. The O'Neill Center received a $9,300 donation from PMC Spirit of Giving earlier this month. The funds will help the senior center continue to provide transportation and adult day services. (Marietta Times)
