  1. A change in the Marietta City Schools' mask mandate was made on Dec. 2, according to a press release from Superintendent William Hampton. Effective immediately, masks are no longer required to be worn in school buildings, said Hampton, though people may still choose to wear a mask if they wish. (Marietta Times)
  2. The Parkersburg Arts Center is bringing in the Christmas spirit with an annual holiday exhibit. The center is having its 18th annual Christmas tree exhibit going on. The display features a total of 16 trees from staff, board, volunteers, local school groups, students, and other creative non-profit agencies. (WTAP)
  3. Marietta Planning Zoning, Annexation, and Housing Committee met on Monday afternoon to discuss concerns for Ordinance No. 282 (20-21). The property in question is the New Life United Pentecostal Church. City Law Director Paul G. Bertram III said the former church will turn into three apartment units. (Marietta Times)
