MARIETTA, OH — This is a news release from Marietta's Engineering Department concerning road work to be done between June 2nd and July 14th (weather permitting.)

Complete General Construction Company is the contractor for the ODOT WAS Marietta SRTS FY 2021 Project.

Construction will begin according to the following schedule per location, weather permitting:

June 9th to July 12th 2021Removal & Replacement of Curb and Sidewalk, Installation of Handrail
5th St. & Washington St. Intersection
June 2nd to June 4th 2021Installation of Signal Mast/Pedestrian Pedestal Foundations
June 7th to June 8th 2021Removal of Sidewalk & Curb
June 9th to 23rd 2021Installation of Conduit, Pull Boxes, Signal Mast, Signals
June 16th to 22nd 2021Installation of ADA Curb Ramps & Sidewalk
June 24th to July 5th 2021Testing of Signals
July 6th to 8th 2021Demolition of Old Signals
5th St & Garfield Ave. Intersection
June 16th to 24th 2021Removal & Replacement of ADA Curb Ramps and Sidewalk
6th St & Montgomery St. Intersection

Traffic will be maintained with noted Detour & occasional stops, motorists should travel the area with caution, obey traffic control signs and flagmen.
