Patch Celebrates One Month In Marietta

MARIETTA, OH — Hey there Marietta. My name is Chris Schmitt, you might know me as the local reporter and community publisher for Patch. One month ago we launched Patch here in Marietta and the response has been overwhelming. The success we’ve seen in one month far surpasses what we were expecting. It’s clear that the people of Marietta had been taken for granted and underserved by entrenched legacy media organizations that have been here forever. I want to thank everyone who shared a story, liked a post I shared or dropped their own neighbor post on the Patch platform. You have my gratitude.
