On 04/20/21 P71, P63, AND P35 were dispatched to Goodwill Industries, 1303 B Colegate Dr. N., in reference to a shoplifting in progress. Before arrival, the suspect grabbed the manager's arm when confronted and then left the store. The suspect, Jassandra Johnston, was located in the 100 block of Millcreek Dr., arrested and charged with robbery (for assaulting during a theft offense), and transported to the Washington County Jail.

On APRIL 21, 2021 S14 was provided with information of possible child pornography being shared through Facebook. This is still under investigation.

On 042020 P 49 received an additional report which was generated from the cyber tipline from National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. This involved messages sent back and forth from an unknown user to a juvenile female student in the Marietta School District. This is still under investigation.

On 042121, school resource officer P 49 spoke with a parent in reference to her juvenile son being unruly. A statement was obtained and the juvenile will be summoned into juvenile court.

On APRIL 21, 2021 P50 met with an individual at the police department referencing a theft complaint. Upon arrival, P50 found that the complainant did a cashback option at the Walmart self checkout. However, he left forgetting the money. Surveillance video shows that once the complainant leaves, a male with a small child walked up and took the cash and moved to another register. The video then shows the individuals leaving the store.

On 04/22/21 AT 13:23 Hrs, S13, P64, and P68 were dispatched to the 800 Block of Fourth Street in reference to a call of adult placing children into the trunk of a passenger filled sedan. Officers were unable to make contact with the suspect vehicle. At this time the case remails under further investigation.

On APRIL 22, 2021 P50 responded to Lowe's in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, P50 spoke to loss prevention, who advised him that a man and woman stole $300 worth of merchandise including a Dyson fan from their store.

On 042221 AT 1446HRS, P64 was dispatched to 218 Putnam Street in reference to a theft. Upon arrival officers made contact with the victim who advised he was robbed by a group of men, one of whom he knew and he was supposed to meet to look at an apartment for rent. This is still under investigation.

On APRIL 22, 2021 P50 responded to 104 Pike St. (Captain D's) in reference to a criminal damaging complaint. Upon arrival, P50 spoke to the complainant, who advised that her ex boyfriend had busted out her windshield and passenger side glass.

On 042321 P35 was dispatched to the Bridgeport Equipment & Tool, 15 Acme St., in reference to a shoplifting complaint that had occured on 04/20/21. A woman stole $112 in women's Under Armor clothing.

On 04/23/21 at around 2005 hrs, P67 responded to Walmart in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival and after investigation it was determined that a man under scanned several items worth $61, placed them into a cart, and then attempted to leave the store with them. He will be summoned to appear before the Marietta Municipal Court for charges of theft.

On 04/24/21 at around 0222 hrs., P67 stopped a vehicle for numerous traffic violations including running several stop signs. After investigation, Leah Ann Hardman was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. During her arrest, she actively resisted, trying to pull away from the officers. Hardman was later transported to the Washington County Jail for OVI, Reckless Operations, and Resisting Arrest.

On 04/24/21 at 276 Ridgewood Ct Apt D Cody Jay Wriston was taken into custody on a felony warrant through Washington County Sheriff's Office for a failure to appear through Washington County Common Pleas Court. Wriston was transported to Washington County Jail.

On 04/24/21 P23 was dispatched to Walmart regarding a theft. On 04/23/21 at 0047 hrs Walmart's surveillance video shows that used batteries were stolen from the automotive center. The theft was discovered at approximately 2030 hrs 04/23/21.

On 042521 P35 was dispatched to Walmart, 804 Pike St. in reference to a shoplifter. Upon arrival p35 learned that a woman had underscanned $79 in items. The items were returned and the woman will be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court for theft.

On 04/26/2021, P72 responded to 804 Pike Street, Walmart in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival P72 spoke with an employee at Walmart and identified a female suspect who had not scanned $35 in merchandise. P72 initiated and investigation and will be requesting a summons on the female suspect for theft.
