- Ohio University is looking at the possibility of mandating vaccines. This comes on the heels of OSU announcing they would be mandating vaccines. (Athens Messenger)
- A WSCC program is getting some major funding. The educational talent search which encourages school age kids to pursue higher education just got a $2 million grant. (Marietta Patch)
- Meigs County deputies have a person in custody for an alleged kidnapping and attempted murder. They say early yesterday morning a shooting took place in Salem Center and the victim was airlifted to a hospital in Columbus. (WSAZ)
- A missing Coolville man was found dead in his car. Ohio State Troopers say 44-year-old Jeremy Dotson hadn't been seen for 5 days before they found his body in a car off of Route 50. Police think he went off the road and hit several trees. (WTAP)
- A convicted rapist from Chillicothe is going to prison. An Athens jury found 25-year-old Grant Sims guilty of rape last month, and yesterday he was sentenced to nearly 30-years in prison.(Athens Messenger)
