MARIETTA, OH — There will be a public meeting tomorrow at 6 P.M. to discuss the prospect of a DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) in Downtown Marietta. This would allow adults to purchase and consume alcoholic beverages outside in designated areas, at designated times.

Marietta Main Street is proposing the DORA be active on Friday and Saturday evenings from 5 P.M. to 10 P.M. If approved, there would be signs up showing folks where they are allowed to have alcohol outside. The meeting will be held at the armory, those who can't be there in person are invited to attend on Zoom.
