Here are the top stories today in Marietta:

1. A reward is being offered to anyone who can help investigators solve an arson case that damaged a historic Marietta College sorority house. The Blue Ribbon Arson Committee is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for starting the blaze. Officials believe the Nov. 9 fire at Alpha Xi Delta was started on purpose, however, no arrests have been made. (Marietta Times)
2. A local Christmas tree farm, Caywood Christmas Tree Farms, is predicting another successful year after having already sold several hundred trees so far this season. Helen Morrison, who has owned and operated the farm for 30 years with her husband, says despite the pandemic last year, they had above average customers last season and are expecting the same to happen this year. Morrison said by ordering everything months in advance, they have been able to avoid any supply shortages for their decorations. (WTAP-TV)
3. Now through Dec. 31, cast your vote for your favorite light display during the Merry-etta Tour of Lights 2021. (Press Release Desk)
4. The Interstate 77 rest stop in Washington County closed Dec. 1, and is set to be demolished this winter so construction on a new building to replace it can begin in March. (WTAP-TV)
5. Ari Gold, the owner of TLV Restaurant in downtown Marietta, brought two proposals before Marietta City Council on Tuesday night regarding parking and outdoor dining. (Marietta Times)
