Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steven "Steve" Scott Cline, a beloved father, brother, and friend. Steve was born on August 21, 1968, in Parkersburg, WV, and passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2026 at the age of 57.

Steve was a proud resident of Cutler, OH, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. He was a dedicated general contractor and a respected member of the Carpenters Union. His craftsmanship and commitment to his work left a lasting impact on many projects and lives throughout his career.

Steve was a proud member of the Eagles in Westerville, Columbus, where he enjoyed the camaraderie and fellowship of his fellow members. He had a passion for Westerns, Hank Jr. music, and a deep appreciation for Mustangs and Fords. Steve also loved the thrill of gambling and the excitement of trading, but above all, he cherished spending time with his family and his beloved dogs. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

He is survived by his devoted sons Steve (Gwen) and Tyler (Lexie) Cline. his grandchildren, Alya Mitchell and Riley, Evan "Steven", Levi, Logan, and Colby Cline. He is also survived by his loving sister, Tammy (Bruce) Martin, and his brothers Roger (Mary) and Tommy (Trish) Cline, Mike, and Brian (Margie) Cline, and his special friend Regina Jarvis.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil Dean Cline and Alma Marie Cline, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms, his brother Donny Cline.

A celebration of Steve's life will be held at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor his memory and share stories of the joy he brought into their lives.
