Support For The Hearing Family

Almost $15 thousand has been raised through a Gofundme after the tragic loss of a local family man and chef.

MARIETTA, OH — A Gofundme has been started in the last 24-hours for a Marietta man who lost his life in a tragic accident.

The obituary for 55-year-old David Hearing states that he suddenly passed earlier this week, it was said to be a workplace accident. The Williamstown Police Department said he was run over by a van he had been operating before the accident.

He leaves behind a wife and three daughters. Hearing had been the chef and owner of the Levee House before he left all that and changed careers. So far the fundraiser has raised about $15,000 of a $5,ooo goal. People are still welcome to donate to the family. This money will be used for the immediate financial needs of the family associated with Hearing's sudden death.
