- It looks like Ohio will have two primaries this year. Since state officials can't seem to get a map approved, the Ohio Association of Elections Officials say the state must hold primary number 2 on August second. (Statehouse News Bureau)
- "Hillbilly Elegy" author and U.S. Senate candidate JD Vance just got the Trump nod, and some in the GOP aren't happy about it. Vance spoke out against Trump in 2016, and was considered a never Trumper. The Donald himself addressed that and said 'he gets it now.' (Statehouse News Bureau)
