Here are the top stories in Marietta today:

  1. Matthew Edwin Deem is the Washington County Sheriff's Office Warrant Of The Week. He's wanted for tampering with records and grand theft. Anyone who spots him is asked to call deputies. (WCSO)
  2. The Ohio Redistricting Commission is about to go for a 5th attempt at redistricting House and Senate maps. The commission will have a new member, as the Senate president is removing himself and has named Senator Rob McColley as his replacement. The next set of maps is due tomorrow in Ohio Supreme Court. (Statehouse News Bureau)
  3. The Washington County Sheriff's Office is warning of a new scam involving Bitcoin. A local man was allegedly duped out of $14,000.(WCSO)
  4. The Marietta Community Foundation has distributed more than 70 scholarships to students going to Washington State Community College. (Marietta Times)
