• ODOT recommends no tolls for new connector after traffic analysis (abc6onyourside.com) — State transportation officials have finished a major study on a new U.S. 23–I-71 connector that would run through Delaware, Marion, and Morrow counties, and they're recommending it not be a toll road. For Marion-area drivers, the proposed 18.2‑mile highway could significantly cut regional travel times, but it still needs funding, federal reviews, and years of engineering and land acquisition before any construction begins.
