Bites Nearby: Mulligan's

The Irish Bar With International Flavor

Looking for a fun place to go? Want to wear your Browns, Cavs, OSU, Indians or PGA paraphernalia? Want something good to eat and cold to drink? Then might be the right answer.

Mulligan’s reflects a strong Irish influence on their menu with lots of potatoes and corned beef served several different ways.

When you open the menu to appetizers you see how they mix it up with Irish nachos and even Mulligan’s egg rolls made from corned beef, cabbage, Swiss cheese, onions and potatoes. Their ciabatta melts include flavors from around the world including the Cuban, with seasoned pork and ham, and the Italian with ham, pepperoni and mozzarella.

If you want to spice things up just a little bit sandwiches and a wide variety of burgers are a good bet, too. There is a section just for “the little duffers” 10 years and younger from the full menu.

Wings  and pizza are offered all week long but are special in the middle of the week. Wednesday is pizza night from 7 p.m. to midnight when a large two-item pizza is only $6.50. Wings are featured Tuesday and Thursday for 35 cents (with a minimum order of 10).

Lighter fare like salads and wraps are also served.

Mulligan’s caters to the lunch crowd as well as the late night eater. Monday through Saturday the bar is open 11-2:30 a.m., and noon to 2:30 a.m. on Sundays.

The kitchen opens with the bar and stays open till midnight except on Sunday, when it closes at 10 p.m.

Happy hour is Monday-Friday from 4-6:30 p.m. Other specials often revolve around sporting events, and, of course, St. Patrick’s Day.

Mulligan's is at 6131 Highland Road, Highland Heights, 440-461-2434.
