Check It Out - Facebook for Beginners Program at Mayfield Library

Your children and grandchildren talk about it a lot. Perhaps they’ve even asked you to create an account. You want to join in the fun but have questions and concerns. This program will walk you through the basics of Facebook: account setup, privacy settings and the language you need to know to participate like a pro. You will learn how to keep your content safe, what to do once you join, and how to decide who to “friend.” Share photos safely, find long lost friends & colleagues, and socialize with confidence in this brave new world of social media. This is an informational program only, NOT a hands on program. Registration required.
