School of Rock Kicks Off Another Season of Rock!

Hey everyone

So how about this snow??? Don't you just love these Cleveland winters??? Even though we're shoveling out the driveway, we're getting the School of Rock Spring Season underway! What a season, we got some great themes going! First is the Jack White Show which rehearses on Tuesdays. If you're not familiar with Jack White, he is an iconic figure in modern music today. Gaining recognition and critical acclaim with his band, The White Stripes, Jack went on to put his musical stamp on many other ground breaking acts. This show pays tribute to all of them!

Next, is the Corporate Rock show which rehearses on Thursdays. Whats Corporate Rock? Corporate Rock is the infectiously popular rock music that ruled the airwaves in the 70s and 80s and made record companies millions upon millions of dollars! Trust us, you all know (and secretly love!) all of these songs! We'll be jamming all of the hits from Journey, Foreigner, Kansas, Boston, and so many more!

Lastly, we will be rehearsing on Saturdays with the Stone Temple Pilots vs. Alice in Chains show. Ahh the 90s, how awesome was rock n roll in the 90s???? In the wake of Nirvana, these 2 bands took up the rock n roll torch and created some of the most ground breaking music out there! This show pays tribute to our heroes of the 90s rock revolution!

Also, don't forget that we offer a program for those little aspiring rockers! The 101 program, is our very popular program that rehearses on Saturday mornings. We have a setlist this year consisting of legends such as the Beatles and Green Day and newcomers, The Lumineers.
