So this weekend we had Finney passing out literature again saying “If you want to keep parking free at Hillcrest Hospital you must vote Donna Finney”. So I e-mailed Hillcrest management today and the replay from one was “I am having trouble about the integrity of any candidate who would make statements without a basis in fact, or without having asked or talked to me or other hospital leadership about the relevant issues.” I have also talked to them before the Nov 5 election about what was being said and they knew what was being said and was not going to get in the middle of the election.
I will on the behalf of the people and business in this city. Donna Finney you have run a shameful campaign. First you go after the biggest employer in Mayfield, do you not think that your words have consequences if you were to become Mayor and have to work with Hillcrest? Then going after Snider and saying that she works for Hillcrest hospital that would be a conflict of interest. If that is the case there have been members on the council that also worked for Hillcrest. I also believe Snider does not work for the hospital any more. Besides does not Howard own an office building in Mayfield and could that not be a conflict of interest? Then if you said that if Snider was elected mayor there would be a conflict of interest because her husband is a Mayfield police officer and the union rep. Do you think you won any police with that statement? Then in that same literature that came out before the Nov 5 election you came up with a made up cost on a new public safety Director to scare the residents into voting for you. Could not the law detractor take care of those problems or if need hirer a part time safety director that would not cost that much? The only problem in your thinking is you chased the people to DiCicco. The other thing I see is that this other piece of literature that came out with your info is a hit piece on DiCicco and the old mayor Costabile. After talking to some people in the know about what was going on with Costabile, if Costabile would have admitted to what he did, more than likely he would have got a slap on the wrist and kept his seat. This hit piece says it is distributed by Citizens for ethical leaders (questionable). Right on the top of their literature it reads “When someone lies to your face, they don’t respect you and they think you are too ignorant to know.” Well that goes also for not answering a question about what party you are with. It is also the same thing as lying to them. You have lied to the people in your literature and that says more than something that happened in the past. I know you have been asked if you are a Republican and you don’t answer. So Finney if you will not do it I will for you. You are a Republican and have been a precinct leader and are part of the Mayfield Republican club. The same as I am. The only reason you are no longer a precinct leader is because you moved out of your precinct when you moved in with Howard who is also a Republican precinct leader. I also remember before the election you and another person went back and forth on the Mayfield Patch about your ethics and you said that the news paper did an article about it and sense it was out there you weren’t going to talk about that. So if it works for you then it should work for Costabile.

With all this being said, this city the people and business deserve better leaders to watch over their money and their property. People it is time to really ask the question, who is running and why do they want the job. Is it about the money and title or is it because they want to make sure this city and all those that call this city home is taking care of and reaching their God given potential.
