This event will feature an inside look at the WRHS which includes early activity in Cleveland and Northeast Ohio at the start of the Civil War. Everything from the fugitive slave trial of Sarah Lucy Bagby, to the participation of the Cleveland Grays at Bull Run, James A. Garfield’s wartime experiences, will be mentioned. You will see how Cleveland joined the war effort in its own way.
