Welcome to the 20th Anniversary Season at The Great Lakes Medieval Faire and Marketplace, where you can travel back to 13th Century England! Since 1993 The Great Lakes Medieval Faire and Marketplace has offered something for everyone, from mellow enchanting music performed by talented international performers to exciting interactive entertainment, all performed on 12 stages, seated in the shade of our village forest. We're also pleased to present man-powered rides and games of skill for the high-spirited thrill seekers, and for those who love to shop our festival offers high-quality, hand-crafted wares created by over a hundred different skilled artisans from across the nation.

Come celebrate our milestone through the excitement of one of the greatest legends ever told! You'll join d'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers on their whirlwind epic adventure as they attempt to thwart the devious, malicious cardinal and his evil henchmen. Be thrilled by heroic feats of swashbuckling mayhem! "All for one, and one for all!"

Marvel at magicians and fire-eaters, gasp with dynamic swordplay, and guffaw at marvelous jesters. Join us for Theme Weekends in 2012 including some of these exciting themes such as "Fun, Fire, and Fantasy," "Pirate Invasion" and "Barbarian vs. Romans." You'll be whisked away from the mundane life as soon as your enter our gates!

And between shows, browse through one of Ohio's largest open-air juries of Artisan and Craft markets, displaying hand-made crafts such as jewelery, leather goods, and clothing from across North America. Our village marketplace boasts over 100 of the country's finest artisans and craft folks as they create and sell their wares: jewelery, costuming, candles, clothing, baskets, boots, silks, swords, toys, pottery, stained glass, trinkets, and more!
