Great Escape: From Woman IV

Exhibit celebrates women artists

Sometimes the black puffy coat just isn’t enough to ward off the damp cold of March. The remedy: Wrap yourself in a luxurious aura of creativity at The Gallery at Lakeland Community College. The unique work of 18 women artists will be on exhibit through March 31.

“From Woman IV: Created by women, of women, and about women” celebrates Women’s History Month. The very best day for this Great Escape is Sunday,
March 27, when a 2 p.m. presentation about Eleanor Roosevelt is followed by an artist reception at 3 p.m. The gallery, located on the first floor of building D, 7700 Clocktower Drive, Kirtland, is also open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
