Highland Heights US Bank Robbed

Three suspects used an assault rifle and pistol to force tellers to hand over cash.

HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, OH - Yesterday, three men robbed the US Bank at 6135 Wilson Mills Rd, Highland Heights. The suspects walked into the bank and immediately yelled "get down."

Two of the three suspects were carrying weapons, the FBI says. One had an assault style long gun and another was carrying a pistol. The third suspect was carrying a blue Adidas bag. Two of the suspects jumped over the teller counter, while the third suspect forced the bank manager out of their office and onto the lobby floor.

The suspects threatened bank employees and customers, repeatedly saying, "I will shoot you." The suspects took the cash from the teller's registers, but did not get access to the vault. Then the suspects fled the scene.

One of the suspects was overheard yelling, "Come on, we gotta go."All three suspects fled the bank on foot and got into a older model gray or silver Chevrolet Trailblazer.

All three suspects are described as black males, having a medium build, are approximately 20 years of age, and range from 5'5" to 5'10".

Suspect 1, armed with an assault style long gun wore a blue down jacket, gray gloves and black sneakers and pants.

Suspect 2, carrying the blue Adidas bag, wore a black front zip hoodie with white emblem, black mask, black gloves and black Adidas pants.

Suspect 3 , armed with a semi-auto pistol with a chrome slide, wore a blue hooded sweatshirt, black pants and gloves.

Reward money is available for information leading to the successful identification and prosecution of the individuals responsible for this armed robbery. Tips can remain anonymous and can be provided to the Cleveland Division of the FBI or the Highland Heights Police Department.
