Mayfield Heights City Council Appoints Officers

After swearing in its newest member Wednesday night, Mayfield Heights City Council turned its attention to officer appointments.

Here are the city council members who were appointed officers. In each case, all seven members voted for the individual, with no other nominations.

• Diane Snider is the new council president. She was previously president pro tem.
• Donna Finney is now president pro tem.
• Nino Monaco was once again named the city's representative to the Mayfield Union Cemetery Board of Trustees.

Mayfield Heights Mayor Anthony DiCicco said council will appoint members to various committees, commissions and the Board of Zoning Appeals at Monday's regular council meeting.
