Mayfield Heights Makes Best Northeast Ohio Suburbs List

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS, OH — The June issue of Cleveland Magazine again features the publication's annual rankings of the best Northeast Ohio suburbs. Mayfield Heights fell four spots versus 2016, landing at 20.

The magazine's annual rankings of the suburbs has become an event to behold. Cities are constantly jockeying for position on the list and Mayfield Heights again made this year's cut, despite falling four spots from 16 to 20.

Other east side suburbs on the list included Orange Village, which landed at 19, and Solon which grabbed the 9 spot. Beachwood was the highest rated Cuyahoga County suburb, ranked number 2 overall.

Richfield moved up three spots from 2016 to become the top rated suburb on the 2017 list. The Solon Schools were ranked as the best school system in Northeast Ohio.

The city of Mayfield Heights will holding its annual Unity Days celebration in late June. The celebration will return the weekend of June 23, bringing three-days of rides, games, and entertainment. The event concludes with a parade on June 25 at 1 p.m.
