Week in Review: GetGo, Blocked Appointment, Burger King, Special Award, Colorado Tragedy

GetGo: The Shoppes at Brainard Crossing/GetGo project had before Highland Heights City Council will vote to place it on November’s ballot at a council-of-the-whole meeting on Tuesday night.

Blocked Appointment: Mayfield Village Council blocked with the village in a tight and contentious 3-3 vote on Monday.

Burger King: The Cuyahoga County Board of Health said Wednesdayin Mayfield Heights after a photo was posted Friday on the internet depicting a restaurant employee standing in two bins of lettuce.

Special Award: Mayfield Village council took time out to thank as the Mayfield City Schools Superintendent with a special “Mayfield Village Outstanding Citizen” award during Monday’s regular meeting.

Colorado Tragedy: Cleveland Cinemas said in the wake of the tragic and horrifying shooting at a Colorado movie theater on Friday.
