On the Campaign Trail for Mayor of Mayfield Heights... Week 2

My second week of campaigning has been wonderful, with so many of the residents showing their support. I appreciated having the opportunity to see so many old friends and acquaintances, that I have not seen in a long time, and it was so nice meeting the many new residents that have moved to our city over the last several years. I plan to knock on every door of our city, so if you do not see me at your door that means you were not home when I came by. If you would like to speak to me or meet with me, please feel free to call me or email anytime. (Dfinneyiii@aol.co or 216-780-5762- Cell)

Thank you to those who gave me the glass or bottle of water and the place to rest and sit and chat. The weather this week was pretty humid and I got rained on more than once.  I have to admit, I rather the heat than cold weather, so no complaints here.

If I knocked on your door and disturbed you, I am sorry. It's only week 2...and my knuckles are already  getting discolored from all the knocking. If my knocking made your dogs bark, once again I apologize. My goal is to meet with every resident and hear their ideas and concerns, certainly not to upset your dogs or disturb your naps.

Howard just surprised me with tickets to the Eagles concert- to reward me for all of my hard work. So, tonight I will take the evening off and go see one of my favorite bands. Thanks again for all of the kind sentiments I have received and if you need a lawn sign in October, please feel free to contact me anytime.
