First, a little background on me:
My name is Sean Milroy, I am a Professional Engineer and Project Management Professional, and a 10 year resident of Highland Rd. I am seeking the open Council-at-Large position to bring an open approach to City government that will result in a more transparent and efficient use of our tax dollars. My wife of 16 years & I are the proud parents of two boys in the Mayfield School System. A United States Air Force Veteran, I manage highway transportation projects for Michael Baker Jr., Inc. (Baker) in Cleveland. As a regular attendee of the Council meetings, I feel I am well-informed regarding the state of the City and have ideas for improving transparency and accountability.

It was right before a family vacation that I heard Frank Legan was stepping down from his Council at Large position. I called Frank to discuss the position, and just gathered some general information. Frank was very considerate and answered all my questions, and provided some insightful advice as well.
I spent the vacation relaxing, but thinking, about running for the open Council position. After considering: I like our City, I’m a fairly smart guy & I like to help, I felt energized and excited, I was going to run for City Council!
