Starting out fresh, as the new name and face in the race, I quickly came to realize I was not going to be able to flood the City with flyers, and handouts, posters and signs. Welcome to Social Media!
A friend helped me secure a website name, seanmilroy.com. Next up was onto the free website hosting sites, to build the website. This was a little overwhelming at first, but with a little work and as I got familiar with some of the vernacular used in the website development, it got easier to add links, and get the site looking presentable.
In addition to the website, I started a twitter account @SeanMilroy and started this blog on the Patch. This weekly post to the Patch lets me continue to reach out to the voters of Highland Heights, and provides another avenue for folks to contact me with ideas or comments. The world is changing every day, and I think if you are not moving forward, then life is passing you by.
